Public Services

Environment, Social Responsibility and Corporate Governance

The real world can be made more efficient, secure and beautiful by creating a realistic, complete and enduring digital twin. It’s where we start from, and what we aspire to. Since its inception, 51WORLD has been assisting the cause of public services with the power of technologies.

Big Change Starts from Small Steps

Earth Hour is an annual environmental campaign that brings attention to the effects of climate change by asking people to switch off lights at homes and businesses for an hour at 8.30 pm (20:30), local time, usually on the last Saturday of March. In response, 51WORLD designed a VR exhibition area of energy conservation and environmental protection, in an attempt to raise awareness of the public and community on this issue.

In addition to neighboring communities, the company also cares about underprivileged children in the countryside

In 2019, 51WORLD collected a large number of winter clothing, stationery, and 300,000 yuan of funds for a primary school in Wenshan, a China-Myanmar border county in Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in southeastern Yunnan province. We also bring along some courses like art, Chinese architecture, English, music and VR, which had aroused huge interests among the kids.

The company does its utmost to help the impoverished children by funding charitable organizations

In 2016, a set of photographs unveiled to the world that a group of schoolchildren climbed a vine ladder on the 800-meter-high cliff every day in Daliang Mountain in Sichuan, southwest China. Deeply moved by the photographs, 51WORLD participated in the project of alleviating poverty through shooting images and videos in four provinces. This project has sparked sensational reactions from the public and more than 10,000 people donate money or supplies. The cliff village reports leveraged as much as 700 million yuan in total, and as a result, local government refurbished 10 elementary school complexes, and relocated more than 100 residents in the precarious area.
